Oleksiy Kandyuk, PhD, is currently a Walter Benjamin Professor (DFG) at the University of Konstanz. He was a Research Fellow at the Hamburg Institute for Advanced Study (HIAS). He has held research positions at Université libre de Bruxelles, the University of Padova, SCRIPTS Cluster of Excellence (Berlin), Gran Sasso Science Institute (Italy), and the University of Indiana (USA). Dr. Kandyuk has held a PhD in Political Science since 2007. His academic interests include European integration, transatlantic relations, national security, and democratic resilience. O. Kandyuk is Chairman of ERGOSUM – an expert platform that seeks to establish new research frontiers in EU–Ukraine relations.
